The Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect x CTS Street Slip Adapter is a reliable and versatile fitting designed to allow the user to slip any push-to-connect fitting or valve into new or existing piping systems utilizing push-to-connect technology. The transition adapter has a push-to-connect end and a CTS sized street or stem on the opposing end which is suitable for insertion into any existing or new CTS sized push-to-connect fitting. This versatility allows the user to remove 2 in. of existing pipe and slip the new fitting or valve into place. Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect fittings are the cleanest and simplest way to join any combination of copper, CPVC, PE-RT and PEX pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Simply insert the pipe to allow the high-strength stainless steel teeth to grip the pipe securely against the specially designed O-ring. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (sold separately). After assembly, fittings may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces.
